1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging the services of Rhymes 4 Reasons, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Services
Rhymes 4 Reasons provides personalised poetry and poetic writing services based on information supplied by the client. Every poem is individually written and tailored to the occasion, recipient, or purpose specified by the client.
3. Information Provided by the Client
The client is responsible for ensuring that all information supplied for the creation of the poem is accurate and appropriate. Rhymes 4 Reasons will not be held responsible for inaccuracies arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.
4. Payment
Full payment is required prior to commencement of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Any optional extras, including priority service requests or printed copies, may incur additional charges.
5. Turnaround Times
Estimated completion times are provided as a guide only. While every effort will be made to meet requested deadlines, Rhymes 4 Reasons cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date unless expressly agreed.
6. Revisions
Minor revisions may be requested within 7 days of delivery. Revision requests must relate to the original brief provided by the client.
Substantial changes, additional content, or alterations to the original brief may incur additional fees.
7. Copyright and Ownership
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all poems, verses, and written works created by Rhymes 4 Reasons remain the intellectual property and copyright of Rhymes 4 Reasons.
Upon payment, the client is granted a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use the poem for personal purposes, including gifting, sharing with family and friends, inclusion in ceremonies, memorial services, celebrations, and personal keepsakes.
The client may not reproduce, publish, sell, license, distribute for commercial gain, or claim authorship of the poem without the prior written consent of Rhymes 4 Reasons.
Rhymes 4 Reasons retains the right to be recognised as the author of the work.
8. Permission to Display Work
Rhymes 4 Reasons respects client privacy.
No poem will be published, displayed, or used as a sample without the client's prior permission. Where permission is granted, Rhymes 4 Reasons may display all or part of the poem for promotional or portfolio purposes.
Clients may withdraw future permission requests at any time; however, previously published materials may not always be able to be removed from historical marketing materials.
9. Confidentiality
Any personal information supplied by the client will be treated with care and confidentiality and used solely for the purpose of creating the commissioned work.
Personal information will not be knowingly sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties without consent, except where required by law.
10. Refunds and Cancellations
A client may cancel an order prior to work commencing and receive a full refund.
Once writing has commenced, refunds will be considered at the sole discretion of Rhymes 4 Reasons, taking into account the work already completed.
Due to the personalised nature of commissioned poetry, completed works are generally not eligible for refunds.
11. Limitation of Liability
Rhymes 4 Reasons makes every effort to provide high-quality personalised writing. However, liability is limited to the amount paid for the commissioned work.
Rhymes 4 Reasons shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or emotional outcomes arising from the use of the poem.
12. Amendments
Rhymes 4 Reasons reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on the website and will apply to future orders.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the Australian laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which Rhymes 4 Reasons operates.
